Learning
At our school, we teach the NSW curriculum and offer many different subjects to support each student’s learning. We know that development of skills in literacy and numeracy are the building blocks for learning and for everyday life. Our teachers use effective teaching strategies to help students achieve their goals.
Why choose us for your child’s learning?

Inclusive and personalised learning
Our teachers adapt their teaching methods to fit your child’s needs, interests, and learning speed. We ensure that every student feels confident and supported.
Extension opportunities
Some students are ready for additional challenges. We provide open-ended tasks, enrichment programs, and support to help all students reach their full potential.
What students learn
Students learn a variety of subjects in the NSW curriculum. They build skills, think creatively and prepare for life beyond school.
At our school, students have the option to take part in a special religious education (SRE) class. These classes are delivered by approved providers.
When enrolling your child, you’ll be able to choose this option. Students not attending SRE are given supervised alternative meaningful activities.
You’re welcome to change your choice at any time. Just let us know in writing.
Our learning approach
Our school employs explicit teaching, which means we clearly explain to students what they are learning, why it matters, and how to do it step by step. This approach helps students grasp new concepts by breaking them down into smaller parts.
Learning at our school is focused on students, inclusive, and practical. We are dedicated to ensuring equity and access for all. We support various learning styles and needs, and our teachers use effective teaching strategies. They participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the best practices in education.
Our learning approach includes:
- Real-world learning: Engaging in hands-on tasks, group work, and exploring new ideas.
- Technology: Incorporating tools to enhance learning and develop digital skills.
- Flexible teaching: Providing the right support for each student while prioritising their wellbeing.
- Community connections: Engaging in excursions and local programs to strengthen ties with the community.
