Wellbeing
At our school, we believe that student wellbeing is integral to effective learning. We are committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, included, and prepared to learn. Whether your child requires support for their mental, emotional, social, or physical wellbeing, our dedicated team is here to help them flourish both at school and in their everyday lives
How we support student wellbeing
Supporting the mental, emotional, social, and physical wellbeing of each student is woven into the fabric of our daily school life.
We achieve this through:
- Teachers who create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.
- Access to school counsellors, psychologists, and specialist staff for additional support.
- Programs designed to promote health, social skills, attendance, and positive behaviour.
- Assistance for students who are new or transitioning between year levels.
- Clear expectations regarding behaviour and the importance of respectful relationships.
- Staff who take the time to understand each child and collaborate closely with families.
- Development of individual health care plans tailored to student needs.
- Open lines of communication regarding wellbeing and available support.
